HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering operates a human rights management system centered on the Human Rights Management Committee, which manages human rights risks through the ESG Committee, the highest decision-making body for overall ESG matters. We identify and manage human rights risks, prevent potential risks that may arise in business operations in an organized manner, and continuously pursue activities in collaboration with various relevant departments to improve our human rights management practices. Through human rights education and remedy procedures, we are enhancing employees' awareness of their human rights and promoting substantive human rights protection.

Human Rights Management Declaration

We have adopted a Human Rights Management Declaration outlining our commitment and plans regarding respect for stakeholders' human rights, the prevention and remedy of human rights violations, the composition of our human rights management governance, the establishment of human rights management practice regulations, and the implementation of human rights impact assessments. Following the Human Rights Management Declaration, we respect human rights as specified in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and we will continually strive to uphold these principles.
